Description

During the night i did the 2 remaining Mirages IIIR that i had in reserve, built as Mirage IIICJ. Now i have 3 of them in 1: 100 scale, in different configurations. I have actually 25 h without sleep, and when was ready to do it, arrived the mailman with the Mirage IIIC pending to arrive! x3

Don´t know nothing about planes? i hope this help a little =3

Arrived after 1982 Malvinas War , 19 Mirages IIICJ and 3 Mirages IIIBJ ex Israel helped to the Argentine Air Force to mantain a good disuasive force altought the several loses ( 10 Douglas A-4B Skyhawk, 9 Douglas A-4C Skyhawk, 2 AMD Mirage M-III EA, 11 IAI M-5 Dagger, 2 BAC BMK-62 Canberra, 25 FMA IA-58 Pucará, 1 Lockheed C-130H Hercules, 2 Bell 212 & 1 Learjet 35A ) suffered against the United Kingdom near the still menacing Chile, Plus 10 Mirage 5 ex Perú arrived 10 days before the end of the conflict, locally know since then as Mirage 5 Mara ( gracias Perú! Nunca olvidaremos su ayuda, sobre todo en la Patagonia  )
The " Shahaks" (as was called by the Israelis ) wasn´t in good conditions, but was still able to fly and combat after a long maintannance and was very appreciated in that obscure moments. Almost all of them, even the two seaters trainers had kills against arab Migs, Sukhois or Hunters ( 95 of them ).
During its short service before be retired by lack of spares, money and excess of flight hours, the Mirages IIICJ was used as pure interceptors, armed with shafrirs or AIM-9 Sidewidner missiles plus its 2 internal 30 mm cannons, altought ocassionally used 125, 250 and 500 kgs bombs too.
Last Planes was retired in 1992, but a lonely plane flying until 2004 ( ! ) as system test machine. Probably will be returned to fly condition so soon as the $ was enought (Our air force is in PATHETIC conditions actually by lack of money and political interest, i think that just the Royal Navy still respected it a little because knows what can do evenn with obsolete planes....)
